Some other activities you can take part in while in the Methow Valley at our Campground include rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, river rafting, horse-back riding, hunting and fishing, golfing, and sight-seeing. While in the Methow you will want to check out the Farmers Market in Twisp, every Saturday from May through October. There is an Artisans Market in Winthrop on Sundays and a market in Mazama on Wednesdays.

Winthrop is an major cross-country skiing location, with over 120 miles of groomed trails that extend toward the nearby town of Mazama. Mazama is 13 miles (21 km) northwest of Winthrop and about 28 miles (45 km) from the Canadian border. Winthrop now boasts the largest cross country skiing trail system in the U.S.
